Red Onion — known to regulars as “Redari” — has been serving customers in Myyrmäki since 1994. People come here to eat, drink, and celebrate. We opened our doors over 30 years ago, in October 1994.

Red Onion was a popular venue for top artists throughout the late 1990s, known for hosting live music at its best—sometimes as often as two or three times a week. The country’s biggest names performed here, from Kari Tapio to Topi Sorsakoski and from Paula Koivuniemi to Laura Voutilainen.

On weekdays, we offer a high-quality buffet lunch, delicious à la carte meals every day, and music and drinks on weekend evenings for those looking to unwind. The true spirit of Red Onion can be summed up by the fact that several generations have come to the restaurant to eat, drink, and enjoy themselves.
